Ginnie Springs is a local privately-owned spring outside of Gainesville, FL. This privately-owned park needed a more user-friendly and efficient website to display hours, showcase upcoming events, and allow users to view the fees for camping, snorkeling, and other park activities.
The website for Ginnie Springs was built on WordPress, using the PHOS Creative framework, Advanced Custom Fields, and Custom Post Types.
The website was designed by a collegue at PHOS Creative.
The Ginnie Springs project provided some unique challenges, particularly the “A Day to Play” section on the home page. The pricing data needed to be editable in one place in the WordPress Dashboard, for ease of use by the client, but needed to be used in multiple places. Also, some of the CSS elements like the wavy water lines under the links, or the spinning paddles in the footer were fun challenges.
