Vet and Pet West is a yearly conference for vets, pets, and animal lovers alike. This site is a small, single-page informational site with the goal of providing quick, concise information about the upcoming event. VetAndPet.com won a Silver Addy in the Micro Site category.
Despite being only one page, Vet & Pet utilizes WordPress, as well as the PHOS framework, and Advanced Custom Fields. WordPress allows this site to be further expandable in the future.
The biggest challenges with developing VetAndPet.com were the highly stylized design elements, and the future-proofing. Further into the future, it is the intention to expand the site out to a mulit-page site to accommodate many other conferences and events. I built VetAndPet.com in a flexible way to allow for more pages and more content to be built in a custom way, using the Advanced Custom Fields flex editor.
