Apologia is a large e-commerce shop that provides parents with homeschooling materials. The goal of this project was to redesign their dated site and reorganize the sitemap for an easier user experience.
This site uses WordPress as the CMS, as well as WooCommerce to manage its e-commerce sales. I also used a handful of plugins – the most important of which is Advanced Custom Fields.
This site was an extreme challenge for many reasons. This was the first time I (or anyone else at the company) had built a large-scale e-commerce site with hundreds of products. The WooCommerce learning curve, coupled with a tight deadline made for a challenging build.
