Island VIP Concierge is a private concierge service that provides vacation services like butlers, cleaning services, chefs, and personal drivers for those traveling to Orlando, or several islands in the Caribbean. I met the owner, Karl, by chance one day and struck up a conversation about his website. This ultimately led to me designing and building his new site.
Like all of my sites, I built a custom theme on the WordPress platform and utilized a variety of plug-ins like Advanced Custom Fields to help add flexibility and customizability to the site.
The biggest challenge with IslandVIP was building a few custom forms with a variety of customizations needed. Because of the nature of the business, we needed a way to capture all the necessary user information for their request, but leaving it up to someone at IslandVIP to manually finish the sale (no payment processing needed on the site itself). Fortunately, GravityForms is a great, robust platform for building highly customizable forms just like what Karl needed.
