Cade Museum

The Cade Museum is a science and innovation museum in Gainesville Florida. Their website was a bit outdated and needed a face-lift. The main goal of the new site was to add a fun and playful new feel to the site while showcasing its exhibits.

My role in this project was lead developer. Like most sites, I utilized WordPress along with a variety of plug-ins like Advanced Custom Fields. While building the custom theme, I had to organize the museum exhibits in a logical and user-centered way.

Challenges

The biggest challenge in this project was finding a way to organize and manage the list of upcoming events. We ultimately ended up utilizing an event calendar plugin.
